Marketing + Graphic Design Intern, St. Petersburg, FL

We are a boutique marketing and design agency in St. Petersburg, FL growing e-commerce and B2B businesses nationally. We are looking for a paid graphic design and digital marketing intern to join our team. This role offers a variety of experience and learning opportunities in creative design and digital marketing, working on both client projects and agency projects in the areas of web design and management, branding + logos, and digital marketing.

Responsibilities Include

Editing websites and developing blogs
Creating graphic designs and branding for social media, print, and e-newsletters
Performing basic search engine optimization
Planning, strategizing, and managing marketing calendars
Measuring and reporting the results of marketing initiatives

Work Schedule

Hourly, approximately 10-15 hours per week (St. Petersburg, FL location)
Hours vary based on workload
Flexible, part time and end date negotiable

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program related to Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or a similar field
Established graphic design portfolio with proven experience in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
Familiarity with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
Competency in Google Docs or Microsoft Word, and Google Sheets or Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable multitasking in a deadline-driven environment and working independently
Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude toward tasks and challenges
Adaptability and a willingness to take on new responsibilities
Knowledge of search engine optimization practices and content writing skills are a plus, but not required
